Philadelphia’s Favorite Cookie Trucks Graduate to Brick and Mortar
(New Temple Location: Cecil B. Moore Ave & Broad Street)
(New Drexel Location: 3400 Lancaster Avenue Philadelphia PA)
(3/25/16) — Insomnia Cookies has found new homes for its bakeries located near Drexel & Temple Universities; which currently reside in food trucks. The company has been operating their food trucks near both Universities since 2010. The new brick and mortar locations will not only allow for better service, but will also now offer Insomnia’s full menu including ice cream. The new bakeries are set to open this spring and will serve retail customers daily from 11 a.m. until 3 a.m. and offer delivery from noon until 3am. The new bakery near the Drexel campus will be located at 3400 Lancaster Avenue Philadelphia PA. The new bakery near the Temple campus, will be located at the corner of Cecil B. Moore Avenue and Broad Street.
“We are excited to have new locations for our bakeries near Drexel & Temple Universities; food trucks are part of our brand’s history and growth but we are pleased to be relocating into larger spaces where we can best serve our customers.” Said David Lasus, Chief Operating Office at Insomnia Cookies.
The new bakeries will now offer their full line-up of menu items including ice-cream, Cookiewiches, brownies, Cookie Cakes, and Bigwiches.
